I will stamp all over 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mentality

"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I will really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
