Major Moscow's Strikes Eliminate Power Throughout Ukraine's Capital

Power facilities targeted in Ukraine
Ukraine's energy systems have come under increased attacks in the past few days

Throughout the evening, Russian aerial assaults have led to blackouts in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.

Several individuals were hurt while inhabitants in the city's east were experienced blackouts and dealt with interruptions to water supplies, according to municipal leaders.

Meanwhile, a minor was fatally injured in a different aerial attack in the southeastern region in the southern area, as reported by regional authorities.

Russian forces has increased strikes on energy facilities over the past few days, while Ukrainian leadership has called for "concrete actions" from partner nations to apply pressure on Moscow.

"What's needed is not symbolic gestures but firm measures - from the America, Europe and the Group of Seven - in delivering air defence systems and enforcing sanctions," mentioned in a social media post.

Officials stated that 450 drones and over thirty missiles attacked the country's power systems, describing such assaults as "strategic and deliberate" and against "essential services" as the weather cools.

Energy officials said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and maintenance teams were laboring to fix the damage.

A wave of strikes damaged energy infrastructure and civilian homes in the capital.

Multiple people hurt in the assaults on the capital have been taken to hospital, as confirmed by municipal representatives.

Local officials said the metropolitan region came under intense attacks overnight. A minor died and three other people were wounded.

The strikes succeed nights of bombing campaigns in the territory, parts of which are occupied by invading troops.

The entire country is in a state of readiness for advanced weapon attacks, which are more difficult to spot.

Authorities told journalists that Moscow was deliberately attempting to damage the electrical infrastructure, with strikes already disrupting gas facilities.

Authorities confirmed technical personnel and government agencies were bracing for additional strikes.
